Cleaning Options

Removes [MUSIC], (APPLAUSE), ♪ lines, speaker labels like JOHN:
Removes <b>, <i>, <u>, <font color="…"> etc.
Removes lines containing "subtitleiy", "opensubtitles", "subscene", etc.
Renumber subtitle indices from 1

What is SDH?

SDH (Subtitles for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing) includes audio descriptions like [DOOR SLAMS], (gentle music), ♪ Song lyric ♪, and speaker labels like ANNOUNCER:. These are useful for accessibility but can be distracting for regular viewers.

Watermark removal

Many subtitle files from download sites contain lines like "Subtitles by OpenSubtitles" or "Downloaded from subscene.com". The watermark option removes these automatically.
